dropped the above ad to social media on Friday, January 6, 2023, stating: “The
Garbage Pail Kids are taking over MLB once again! New set featuring art by Alex
Pardee will be dropping on Wednesday only on Topps.com.” and a video on Monday,
January 9, 2023, stating: “‘Garbage Pail Kids were probably the first thing
that I even avidly collected…Having the opportunity to be part of that legacy
in a small way is insane…’ Artist Alex Pardee shares his deep connection
to his upcoming #GPK x #MLB set!” NOTE:
Collectors may recall artist ALEX Pardee’s digital artwork contribution to the
2021 Beyond the Streets (BTS) release for card #1 in the online boxed set via
NTWRK. NOTE: The
eight-pack box sold out in eight days; the one-pack box sold out in nine days.
The 2nd series had a much higher production and no artist proofs.

Per
the Unofficial SDCC Blog published an article titled, “Alex Pardee San Diego
Comic-Con 2023 Exclusives”, on July 5, 2023, stating, “Alex Pardee is
returning to San Diego Comic-Con 2023 at Booth #5502 this year, where he’ll
have his patented brand of colorful terror (or “brightmares”). You can
probably expect new tees, new art, and even more. Get
ready for a gross attack (in the best way) from Alex Pardee, as he will be debuting
a new series of Garbage Pail Kids inspired trading cards. The series, titled “Spoiled
Sports“, explores a world of grotesque sports, where players like “Ken

and a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. It will only be sold as a 2-pack, and you’ll
also receive one randomly chosen “Artist-Autographed” Garbage Pail Kids

Each card comes signed by Pardee and encased in
a specially marked case. You can score a gross-out homerun (or at least the two-pack

TV Promo Cards (100ea?) printed through and for the
Philly Non-Sports Card show that took place the weekend of May 20 and 21. Per
social media the first half of May, artist David Gross mentioned, “If you
are going to the [Philly Show] I’ll be at my booth with an exclusive official
[GPK] card available!” and “Adam F. Goldberg’s The Muppets Mayhem is
now streaming on Disney+! Check it out and get the [GPK] promo cards (A/B Names)
I painted which are available at the [Philly Show]!” Note: the Philly show
has been printing and paying for these cards to be printed, roughly 100 per promo
card, for several years, after first getting permission. More than 60% of these
particular promocards were miscut, so Gross paid to have them reprinted, so roughly
200 may eventually exist on the secondary market.

“View Askew Productions” is a film and television production company
founded by Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier in 1994, which includes Clerks, Mallrats,
Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, etcetera. The “View Askewniverse”
is a fictional universe created by writer and director Kevin Smith, which is featured
in several of these films, in comics, and a television series, where the Jay and
Silent Bob characters appear in almost all of them. NOTE:
card #19, Harley Quinn Smith, is Kevin Smith’s daughter, and card #20, Austin
Zajur, is Harley’s boyfriend since 2019; both Clerks III characters replaced the
Mallrats characters concepts for the Wild WALT & Fierce FLANAGAN and Super
STEVE-DAVE & Boasting BRIAN by artist Brent Engstrom, since Kevin Smith wanted
them included. Artist David Gross took to social media on July 28, 2023, to post
an unpicked concept piece, stating, “Unused Olaf Garbage Paul Kids rough
I drew for the Kevin Smith View Askew set. Unused rough for Caitlin from Clerks
for the new Kevin Smith View Askew set at Topps.com. Ultimately it was decided
to not use Caitlin because the actress had passed away.”

On
July 20, 2023, Topps took to their GPK Facebook page (The Official Facebook page
for Garbage Pail Kids, brought to you by Topps!), with a brand-new advertisement
image for the release to simply state, “From the mind of Kevin Smith comes

Topps Chewing Gum company released two Look ‘n See (©T.C.G.)
sets, in 1952, where each trading
card contained a colorful, “painted” subject-matter portrait with a
very artistic approach. Much like this new ‘Entertainment Blend’ brand mashup,
the set was very diverse and included notable scientists, leaders, artists, writers,
explorers, and other famous personalities. A red cellphane decoder was also included
which revealed an answer to a trivia question on the reverse card back. This historical
set really plays up to Ermys’s artistic methods and talents.

out way too much money on eggs this year. Just another reason why 2023 Was The

Garbage Pail Kids, Year: 2023” The release included a plethora of parallel
border colors including blue, pink, green, orange, gold, purple, red and ‘padparadscha’.
The price per box lowered from $120.00 (OS5) to $109.99 (OS6) in just one years,
a difference of $10, possibly due to the last release selling a bit slower. 100
cards per base and parallel sets.
The only additional information on the UK site concerned shipping, which stated,
“Please allow 3-5 business days for UK delivery (+14 for international orders,
